Devin Johnston Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 I don't see any carpet, it looks like a wood floor to me, and the strips you see on your wall is the result of your material tiling. nzjimmy2001 Posted August 19, 2006 Author Share Posted August 19, 2006 i have carpet in the background through the window. it seems the strips occur whenever my material bump has tiling like in the attached pic. the reflective bitmap comes out full size but the bump comes out tiled and only in top part of the viewer. why does this happen? i think this is causing my strips. you can see the strip occuring in the top of my material preview. its like the bump is only covering a small amount of my material.
