William Alexander
nangkri, -1 Mesh processing size. Start out large 1/10 or larger than the structures largest dimension, for example. Reduce the size to meet your desire results. -2 Use lights that produce radiosity sparingly. If an indoor scene has 100 light fixtures, use an area light to represent the full amount of illumination. -3 Refine iterations- use it after getting the best results from previous suggestions. Start with low numbers and work up. -4 Filtering- very useful for quick results. However too large of a filter greatly decreases the radiosity effect, flattening out your image. -5 Regathering- use only as needed. You need to get a feel for rays per sample and how much more time it is going to take. The filter radius if set to large will decrease the radiosity-contrast. -6 Don't be afraid to use the light painting feature to correct or adjust poor areas. -7 if all else fails use photoshop with what you can produce in a given amount of time. rgrds WDA
