STRAT Posted September 7, 2002 Author Share Posted September 7, 2002 hey nisus, i'm glad i dont live in your house!!! i understand what you keep banging on about, but in this case (and with most cases) i prefered to be close in with a small lense rather than use a zoom lense and pull the camera further back to retain the verticals. i think the close-up'ness of this shot makes it more dramatic with the sloping in walls. you mentioned verticals with my WIP#3, the night time shot. i have taken ur advice there and fixed it because it did look not warrented. nisus Posted September 7, 2002 Share Posted September 7, 2002 hi strat héhé, i know i freak on verticals... it's jsut so much nicer (ow, here i go again... :-p) anyway, it's not necessary to use a tele-lens for avoiding parallax: you can use the same camera, but put the target on the same height of the camera, render a bit higher and crop...
