nice work. though its too clean making it less realistic.. im sure this is apparent because there are less props, entourage.. which im sure will be added as this is just a wip.

good to know theres one more active member fro the philippines. i really wish there are more of us from here as it would surely help making 3d more popular.

keep it up.. hope to see more updates.. and render settings? for us newbies?

I love the glass doors. Did you apply a reflection map or is it really glass with the exteriors modeled as well?

the only thing is that the couches seem flat compared with the ultrarealism of the rest of the picture (that glass table is AWESOME).

great job thus far, can't wait to see the updates.

Hi schmoron13 the glass door is a real glass with a modeled exterior see the exterior railings and the reflection of the couch. Only the sky background is the bitmap.

For the specs:

my old realiable machine

Athlon 800

640Mb Ram

1hr 45min rendering

Hey Arnel - Sweet Work! I'm assuming you used Radiosity? If so and if you have a moment, could you explain how you setup the Lighting in your scene? Did you just use Photometric Point Lights and stuff them up into the Cans or were there other general illumination lights in the room? Basically, I'd like to know anything you can tell me, including Rad, settings :) Thanks Man - Mega

nice work man, but you could add something on the floor (maybe a carpet) to accentuate it.

The over-all atmosphere seems cold and lifeless. A planter on the right side of the couch and a sconce light on the column might help. Switch on the lamp too for a warm cozy touch.

But thats just my opinion though.
