Hi all

I am working on a large scene contain a huge number of rpc objects, all of them are instances but during rendering time each rpc take 2 or higher memory of ram when vray is updating objects, so vray server could not allocate enough memory to render the scene...

Is there any idea to convert rpc to vray proxy or any option like this? i want conserve memory for gi calculations and other process….

I stopped using RPCs a while ago, but from what I remember, Archvision does not recommend instancing RPC's. Another thing is that vray + RPC = memory problems. At least in large scenes. I would suggest doing your RPC's as a separate pass and comp them together in Photoshop.
