vodka79
Is there anyone who may kindly guide me on doing masking for entourages such as people and vehicles? I'm also trying to insert an image behind window glass as well. How can i do that or where can i find any tutorials for them? Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks
Brian Smith
All you have to do is copy something to your clipboard, make a selection area, such as a window, go to the Edit menu, and select Paste Into. It creates a mask automatically with the selection you've made.
vodka79
Thanks Brian, i know about that but what i meant is image "behind" window glaze as glass will reflect come kind or another of the say bedroom or living room after the render finished. So how do i insert them and maintain the reflections to give the "real" background image behind the window. Hope you understand what i'm talking about. Thanks Brian! I just got your book and am working through it now. Cheers!
erickdt
Could you post the image your working on so we can better understand what you are trying to do?
Brian Cassil
The process is simple, (just like Brian S. suggested) but it can be tedious depending on the subject (like a tree, or a person with feathery hair) I've been looking at getting fluid mask, a photoshop plugin, which appears to make this a lot easier. hughie
There might be newer ways to do it, but if you are placing it into a render, do a version with no glass and with glass then mask the reflection pass on top of the person.
