Fernando Lino
About the design The opening is too small (window). I like the skylights there and I’d use brick on this wall (for the texture) and the other wall I’d use a light color material, I think you need to bring the light in. About the rendering looks flat and dark orangesad
Fran
Hi Luis, You might consider using the Daylight System with IES sun. Are you using Logarithmic Exposure control? Also, what are your radiosity settings? It looks like you've used a high level of interactive filtering. I like the design, and the modeling and texturing looks good. So that's a start. kainoa
I disagree with Fernando. It may be a little dark, but it's not flat nor do i think the window is too small. Anyway, I'd find a way to lighten up the room without burning the allready bright areas. I'd take a look at the chrome textures, they look odd. Also, get rid of the reflection of the grass on the floor. Anyway, it's a great start. You're almost there. Cheers!
Fernando Lino
It looks flat for me because the table and the frames don't have shadows
kainoa
Sorry Fernando, but to me the term FLAT refers to a render sans any type of global illumination. Luis's rendering does have some GI in it, although it does need tweaking (ie: the shadows).
