Fun in the Sun

Just copied a bunch of chrome balls, added a vray plane w/ a conc texture, then added a new vray fixed camera.

For the lighting added the new vray sun and then the vray sky into the environment slots in max and vray.

The tricky stuff begins while adjusting the height/position of the sun, to how it affects the settings of the camera, and vice versa. I opened the F-stop on the camera to 1.4 or so to get a good depth of field effect (wow, that really adds time to the render).

The trouble/fun is you have so many settings with the camera: speed/iso/fstop, etc; and the vray sun/sky, and the color mapping, that you kind of need to be a specialist in all. Any adjustments in any of them greatly change the rest.

I was just happy that I got the vray sky to provide a good hdri feel with the light coloring, and the sun/sky provided a good desert sunset look.
