seamus
I've started using vray 1.5 and after watching Christopher P Nichols DVD I've tried using gamma correction. I've found that the setting options are different - "multiplier, Inverse gamma and gamma". I have kept all of these values at 1 and instead I have changed the gamma within the preferences in max (see attached image). This gives good results and seems to work fine however I have noticed that when I import a bitmap through the material editor the preview display of the bitmap is a different shade to the photoshop version and to the version displayed on the material editor after import. Am I doing this incorrectly? What is the best method using vray 1.5?

seamus
I tried that. It seems to affect the images when I save them from the frame buffer and open them in photoshop - they end up darker. This works fine with the setting at 2.2.
