cyborg
WIP 01: One of my favorits movies is "The Green Mile" with Tom Hanks. Thats why I'm trying to model one of the scenes from the movie. OLD: http://home1.stofanet.dk/cyborg-art/Upload/tgm05A.jpg The building was modelled in AutoCAD/MAX and rendered with fRender. Update soon... Cu.... nuno
Hi Cyborg, I didn´t see the movie (maybe i should) , but what i see is a superb image. In my opinion, there is only one thing: maybe you should turn the image a little bit darker and with some distance fog, i think it will improve. keep with the excellent work. Best to you Nuno
Paul Griger
Great movie! I can’t remember every detail of this death row cellblock, but from what I remember, this looks great! One thing that I could add is that the floor should be that pale green, “sage” color. From my monitor, it appears that your pic doesn’t capture this. And I’m sure that you are already aware that this walk to the electric chair was known as the “Green Mile” for that specific reason. And after looking at the movie still, the floor could be slightly reflective, and the sunlight from the skylight diffused so there is a softer light/shadow on the floor And where’s John Coffey & Mr. Jingles? cyborg
@Nuno If you like great movies and storytelling you could see the movie. @Paul Griger Yeah, I know. I still have to work on the floor, it's just temp. Also some others textureswork. My plan is to make the light impact more diffuse. Mr. Jingles will maybe be added. I'm sort of moviefreak. Here is another movieobject I did some time ago http://home1.stofanet.dk/cyborg-art/Upload/New_Filmreel02A.jpg Sorry about my english - I'm Danish. EDIT: Images removed (auto view). nisus
Hi cyborg, Very nice image - marvellous movie! - but I don't like the floor as it stands out so much that it looks like it's from another scene or movie. Add some dirt, mop sweeps, footsteps, anything to break that homogenuous plane rgds nisus
cyborg
@quizzy and nisus Thanks for the comments. Yep, i will add some dirt ect. and aged the floor.
