THEPRAYINGMANTIS
Attached is a jpeg of a house I'm working on. I need some constructive feedback please. I used vray displacement for the grass but I can't seem to get the tiling correct. I'm using HRD lighting but I can't seem to get the realism I want. Overall, the image looks bland. I need some help. thanks
NOOXY
ok i'm not a vray user but i can tell u a lil bout the image..lighting i think could be more dramatic looks too yellowhish..the bump on the wall seems too much and too big..grass is to tiled and shouldn't look so much like a carpett...camera angle is decent enough just try to coposite a background and some trees and plants to give it more life..good luck man:cool:
mikacool
Hello Good work i think less bump in the walls and more bump in the roof, and more reflecttion in the glass. cool
andrew.forbes
For the grass, make sure you use a different map for the displacement map as for the diffuse. This might help get rid of the tiling effect. In agreement about the bump on the walls, and on the roof. I think it looks pretty good and will look more realistic with a background image and some more site context.. trees, cars etc... whatever. Good stuff!
