alexthg
guys any recommendation for 3d people libraries? real 3d geometry, not RPCs i mainly use for still images, so 'animatable' is second priority... photoreal is first priority... thanks! afterglow
i'd stick with 2D people (added in post) for stills.. 3D peeps look like toys.

alexthg
yeah, but there are a couple of occasions when i just can't use 2d people effectively: 1. Birdeye view 2. Sitting people... (i know rpc got some sitting people... but they're painful to setup)

3D_IC
all you need is a digital camera and basic photoshop skills. If you need a 3/4 aeriel shot people then take pics from a balcony or mazanine. I always carry a small digital camera incase of a good oportunity to capture people and bitmaps. here are the ones i have created in the past http://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Index.cfm/FuseAction/ProcessSmartSearch/istIncAuthor/3DIC/blAuthorExact/y
Crazy Homeless Guy
i have not used these, but i am always impressed with the metroploy people. if you use GI, they interact nicely with it. the lighting is correct, which rarely happens when comping people in the arch vis industry. http://www.axyz-design.com/ . I use them. They're not perfect or very detailed, but as Travis said, they work perfectly with the light in your scene.
alexthg
thanks for the input guys. metropoly 3d people looks quite good & suitable for my purpose... was it what sean-de-boer used for his AVC2006 final?
