Exterior Render

Recommended Posts

Hello friends...

I´ve only posted interior images before...this is my first exterior image to show (not the first done)

This building was done for school work by a friend and modeled and render by me and my partner Eduardo.

We used the light tracer with a skylight and a direct light (sun)

we tried to do something out of conventional, by lighting the side of the building, not the front...to add a little drama.

Thanx for the attention

Something that draws my eye is the bounce of light from the hardscape below. Seems to me like the units might be off or maybe it is just tricking my eye. Otherwise I would like to see more activity at the base of the bldg and maybe enhanced paving for the crosswalk area. The yucca plants seem to be lacking shadows.

nice render of the building, but imho the image could benefit from the addition of a more well developed and broader range of ground.. both fore and background image.

i mean too much of the image surface is the building itself.. unless ofcourse you have chosen to deliberately crop the image for this post.

Thanks

bio-hazard,

i agree this image is very cropped, this was not exactly intentional, but this building was to be constructed on a very dense area of the city.

I didnt want to model the side building, but at the same time i didnt want to lie on entourage, so, the way i found was not show the sides of it...and to maintain the proportions, i cut the sky...
