Jeff Mottle
This was moved from the Challenges forum and was orginally posted by Suiciety Ok.....here it is......first WIP. Rendered with Brazil PBeta....about 1 hour's worth of rendering on Dual PIII 866 (serious tweeking needed, as time can be reduced). The sunlight here is more of a Mediteranean (or South African) bright sunlight...possibly a bit overexposed. Tiles done as Procedural. Walls need some "noise". I also agree about the green glass (not being as on the ref. photos)........will change that too..........as this section is for WIP, this will be a WIP.....comments welcome..... Guest info@hybridvigour.co.za
Okay.....decided to go for FinalRender rather than Brazil......... All images about 15 min. GI calculation, approximately 5 min. rendering (Dual PIII 833, 1 GB RAM). Just playing around still, but need to finalize I guess.......
foxlee
great to see somebody from south africa posting. like the skies in the top two finalrenders, night scene needs more light and variation.
quizzy
I think the 2 lights in the pool are way to bright, try adjusting them, also the light on the wall needs a armature...
NenadK
hi... daytime pictures are nice, maybe would still need a little more diffuse light and less of the sunlight (which is still a bit overexposed)... night pictures need more contrast and maybe some reflections from the floor tiles. in both pictures, try adjusting the perspective to avoid 3rd vanishing point ("tapered" look) and get the vertical lines really vertical --- take a look at Palmiro's WIP in the forum for very similar viewpoint. nice work. cheers
