Josh1587140445
Wow!! That looks really good. The only thing that I could see is that the chairs seam to be missing the wood grain and your curtains on the left side of the image are poking thru the valence at one point. Other than that, it looks great.

Joel_FVD
I like it. I can see you payed very close attention to detail. Here are my comments: 1. The pot on the lower left of the image needs to be a little smoother. 2. I can see some artifacting below the crown molding which is probably due to this still being an early version of the rendering. 3. Some of the materials look a little "chalky". I think that even though a piece of furniture is not highly varnished, it would still have some kind of specular to it.
Tim Nelson
I really like the rendering and the lighting. But to me, the lighting doesn't match up exactly with the scene. The room kind of looks like it would be lit by some more indirect illumination, like cove lighting or halogen up lighting. I see there is some falloff from the sunlight entering the room, but maybe not enough. And I think the downlights would produce a little more focused light than that. There is some visible artifacting at the moulding and the wall, and also at the far wall & tv too, but not too bad. But again, I like the rendering. Its very warm and had a nice feel to it. Crazy Homeless Guy
i agree that the wood needs better specular. the phone needs work. it would probably be easiest to change the color of it. for some reason my eye keeps getting drawn to it. i am not convinced on the tv either. maybe the screen needs a little reflection. nice image though. good job on the couch/sofa. Formula
Yes, it's a fantastic interior rendering! Like some items already mentioned - spend some more time on the phone and TV. The pot thing on the table seems to be hovering just a bit and its reflection a touch too strong. Also, the greenish lamp shade to have too strong of luminous value that makes it not fit very well. I think an improved version would make it outstanding.
teetoo
Josh: oops..sharp eyes.. forgot 2 UVW map the chairs thx DelfoZ: Vray-yes. Is there a Vray kinda "trademark" somewhere? Joel_FVD: pot..got it. Yeah. gotta improve my materials. thx. Timmatron: True..the downlights are from a single Vray light plane. It saves a bit of time in rendering. Had 2 to do about 10 rooms in a week (part time)- so had to "cheat" a bit. I didn't realize tweaking the lights is as long as modelling the scene!! thx. homeless guy: the phone - i need an EXIT!!! These are the standard phone colour in our hotel rooms- true, the tV needs reflection. thx. Thanks guys for tips. Will be updating soon. THANKX!!! IC
Hi Teetoo, That's a really nice lighting setup but I would expect the camera end of the room to be dimmer. Also, some of your coving seems to disappear into the walls. I do find my eye drawn to the artifacting, but these are all minor points on a really good job. Cheers, Iain p.s. kind of reminds me of Fran's stuff (mood and lighting anyway) and that can only be a compliment.
