thickly
Hi all -- just flipped the 3GB switch last night and it has had a negative impact on my video card. I know I have read about this problem before when using the 3gb switch, but I can't seem to find a solution for it now. Is it a driver issue, is there a work-around? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Ray
I've noticed that the 3GB switch is not compatible with the sli on my laptop--it's one or the other. Not sure what kind of trouble you are having, though.
jow
have alook here- http://support.microsoft.com/?kbID=810371 I had problems before, booting up and windows not seeing my Gfx card, thought it was a Gfx driver update i'd made (release 90 nvidia) but turned out it wasnt. Changed the boot.ini file to read- multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional 3GB" /3GB/Userva=2900 Works fine now;)
thickly
after a couple of restarts it seems to have worked itself out -- just one of those unexplained things that I don't mind not knowing the answer too, I'm just happy it works. thanks
