Hedayet
This is one of my own class projects. The idea is to make an instant life scale paper structure by simple paper tubes (tracing paper holder). My concept was to build the whole structure with a single structural module. I made a 3d walkthrough which you can access with any net browser. Also I add the description on the making of the structure. The link is arcviz.atspace.com What you think about the design? Is it really possible to make? Feel free to give comments and advices on my work. I attached a screen shot for your interest. Thank you.
AJLynn
Have a look at Shigeru Ban's work. He's done many buildings and installations using paper tubes as structural modules, and worked out the hardware to connect them, structural calculations, what to apply as a sealant against water and fire considerations. Hedayet
Thank you, I already studied about his works, nice works. But I am trying something else; I am trying a low cost structure which could be easily installed. And I am also trying a different style. But I am not sure that the structure would be really built able.
