edub
anyone else get the number 0037 added on to the end of a filename (before the extension) when rendering to the picture viewer? As an example, I have my setting to save as "camera-01.tif" and the file ends up being named "camera-01_0037.tif" I get this sometimes, and usually when saving to .tif format. Anyone else? It's driving me mad!
Wokka
edub, Is it part of an animation? You may have output set to 'current frame' and have the slider set to frame 37? Cheers
AJLynn
It puts the number of the frame in. Very useful, actually - for example, an easy way to batch render is to set the camera, keyframe it up, next frame, change camera, keyframe, etc. Do a render frame range, go have a beer. You can also save a bunch of versions of a still by advancing the frame by one every time you render, no need to change file names.

AJLynn
Happens all the time, you click on the animation slider and don't notice, but it doesn't matter if you're not animating.
