my first post

It's my first post and I'm a beginner and trying to learn on my own. I am using 3d max and vray renderer,

i've had this problem where the bottom parts have these white higlights which is really unusual

i'm really intersted in making these rectilinear forms and creating aesthetically pleasing compositions

 

any critiques and advice are welcomed...

postin ur settings wud help others to help u more..

these glows usually come with low irr settings.. switch to medium or high or custom settins to impove on the quality..

 

check with ur anti aliasin filter, noise thresholds too.. stick on to catmull rom or michell netravali...

you can change the brightness on the gamma corection on the virtual frame buffer of vray......... hope this helps....

not sure but possibly its the 'saturation' value under 'indirect illumination'

take it down to 0.1 0.2

even if it doesnt help u should do it anyways (helps when u use very colourfull objects)

i change the setting to high ...the artifacts at the bottom are gone...longer render time... i had it at medium (animation settings)
