The Rays Per Evaluation were set to 4X12, Monte Carlo Rendering... with Shading noise reduction on and Adaptive sampling turned off with Low AA. Turning Adaptive sampling off forces a complete re-render of each pass.... and each pass has the shading noise reduction "splotches" (however minor) in different places.... in the end it comps the render passes together and since the "splotches" are all randomized when it comps together it is further smoothed out so very little grain is evident. (does that make sense?). Radiosity intensity is set at 100% and that is pretty much it. -- Just one distant light providing light in the scene.

For info on how you can use the snaping tools built into lightwave to do more then what is at first apparently possible... check this thread here. CgTalk Thread . -- I will agree though since I started out on Rhino...that even more snaping options would be great. -- And Construction planes would be *Super Great*.
