Ray
From the makers of AVG Anti-Virus, they now have free anti-spyware: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/ewido-anti-spyware-free/lng/us/tpl/v5 (Sorry if this is old news, I didn't see any previous threads.) Crazy Homeless Guy
Been using AVG free for some years now....my only gripe is the daily update attempts .... right in the middle of something....small price I suppose... IGD i use AVG free also. it is an excellent choice for antivirus. i am pretty sure i just set the update and scan time for 5:00 am to avoid any conflicts with me working on the computer. i think you can even set it so it doesn't scan daily. i also am also testing out there anti spyware software right now. i am testing the full version, and am on about day 15 of the 30 day trial period. the difference between the full and free version of the spyware is automatic updates. which is nice if you don't want to think about it. Ray
It appears that the free version is actually a demo of the full version for 30 days at which time it morphs into the free (no auto update) version.
