Greg Hess
http://www.3dluvr.com/crossbow/incoming/Bside/ For all who couldn't make it, here's some shots. JamesT, Rift, and Kraz are our new tables. Rift is designed as a console table which mounts to the wall, and stacks like shelves. We didn't have time to mount it as it was finished off the assembly line about 30 minutes prior to the opening. Around 750+ people showed up from 6pm to 3am on friday. Probably over the entire weekend, well over 1500 visits. Bside was a design co-op (setup by my partner Marc Thorpe) and included a wide variety of up and coming New York Interior Designers.
garethace
I once did an interview for a furniture company myself, who were looking for someone to take their own AutoCAD work, into 3DS MAX or something. To be honest with you, i was in two minds about using autodesk product to do this - or using something more versatile as a modelling application like Z or LW. Rendering has to be top notch for PR furniture stuff also i reckon.

GaryR50
I like that table with the steel supports inlaid into the wood top. By the way, what's that cool looking white sculptural object sitting on it?

Greg Hess
Event was held on 85 Franklin street, in New York City. There was a previous post with invites to the event, and dates/times/location. www.dsaassociates.com/bside (don't know if it still works). Thanks for the comments. Kraz is selling like hot cakes. Igor K
Just curious, Can you tell us more about manufacturing these pieces? You make them yourself or in-house? Fantastic work man! "Rift" rocks! Igor
Greg Hess
We do all the designs. We have companies in NYC and Canada do the actual manufacturing process. They setup the line, and we can take orders for any # of tables after they've been prototyped. I should throw up some of up and coming designs .
