Animation cheat effects?

Good day i have completed an animation , and now it has to altered and some other smaller sequesnces.

 

I don't have time to re animate the extras.

i am rendering out every 10th frame for the extra pieces, and was wondering if anybody has a nice technicque for putting them togther so as to make it look like a arty anaimtion.

I am using premier 6 for putting it together.

 

Any advise would be great.

A stop frame style springs to mind....... i remember 1 of the contestants of the 1st arch viz contest Jeff organised completing the animation challenge in a similar fashion....... if they are still available to view i'd check it out
