jtroupe
I am doing some residential exteriors and have a problem rendering the grass to make it look realistic. I have a basic flat material with a map of grass on it. It gives the overall impression pretty well. But what to do when you come across places where the grass touches the concrete. Normally the grass would go on top of it or atleast grow above it, but how do you show that??? The following image is one that I am having this problem with. Thanks. STRAT
either finish it off in photoshop (my prefered method) or look into displacement mapping.

Sindala
there's actually a grassleaf shaped brush in photoshop that works excelent for cloning over the edges. this could be done in a few minutes.
