ZFact
Hi; I want to twist a high rise building... very simple model of 1 polygon for wall and 1 polygon for glass... why does the glass twist differently to the walls?

AJLynn
It has to do with the mesh density - on your glass box, there are no intermediate points between the top and bottom, and it needs the higher level of detail to deform the mesh. The conrete part has a high level of detail, so it works. I tried it with the glass part replaced with a cube, size 49*300*24, coordinates 0,150,0, with segments increased to 10,30,10, and it worked fine. I had the same problem last year when I was IK-skeleton-rigging the Boston waterfront so it could walk around. (Animation is fun.) Note that with the deformer object in "limited" mode, only mesh that's inside the deformer's box is affected. If you want to deform the whole object you can increase the boxsize or set it to unlimited.
