nichchris
Hi Kid, Very nice, I like the look of that scene, its coming along quite well. But... oh why,.. Oh Why.... must their always be a but in everything.. I prefer your line drawn sketch vs your color version for these reasons: 1-You had some pine trees that you have removed I prefered these pines in the background. (it could be you simply have not drawn them yet.. but just in case). 2-I like the semi circular action takeing place between the old tree line and the mountain range in the original sketch. in fact you started with a small valley and it turned into a mountain range, that now slopes down to the right, but in your sketch in slopes upward to the right.. forming that other side of the circle from the tree line to the house. 3-You emphasised certain aspects of the original sketch by having heavy and light lines.. this I like a lot.. but in the final, this has dissapeared , I suggest you try in some way to get that back.. 4 - You fence posts are higher in the original B&W sketch, breaking up the rail feel to the fence, but not in your painting.. 5- The dirt road with the grass in the middle is a good touch! I guess that's it for now.. I will be back though! nichchris
