neko
when you create a boundary, you have a choice of whether it is a polyline or a region. there is a setting on the dialogue box for the BOUNDARY command that confirms this choice. should be easy to fix. cheers paul
alikashan
i know about the choice between polyline and region but its not like that..its just that i am creating the polylines through boundary command and some very fewtimes , a dialouge box appears quoting that its not able to generate a polyline so create a region instead................ y this happens..???? neko
what version of autocad are you using ? 2007 ? it could have something to do with gap tolerances - i'll read up a little on that subject and let you know.
a_w
Does your boundary involve any ellipses, ellipse arcs, or splines? For me, those three always cause regions instead of polylines, in AutoCAD 2005.
