mooney102
Thanks kippu, but i have that option checked. my light settings are as follows: under options in the parameters rollout, I have checked invisible, ignore light normals, store with ir map, affect diffuse, and affect specular. BrianKitts
check "affect specular " in the light properties it's the other way around, you don't want it to affect specular... to affect it, is to show up. so uncheck "affect specular" it, and your light won't be in the reflections. iancamarillo
hmmm... that sucks because the specular is the only think I want affecting my materials. any suggestions???
parker2740
I had the same problem. You can create a box directly in front of the light. Through the object properties for the box, turn off "visible to camera", "cast shadows", "receive shadows" and "visible to reflection" . That should give you the desired effect
Ricardo Eloy
That's pretty much why V-Ray 1.5 final has a new option called Affect Reflections, for most of us can't afford a light not affecting any specularity...
