radiosity units in VIZ2006

I'm having a problem with an AutoCAD 3D model which units are set like 1 unit= 1 mm, resulting in a model where 1 meter is 1000 units. When I import the file to VIZ 2006 and proceed with the radiosity solution, I can see the radiosity solution in the viewport, but when I do the render, the radiosity solution looks like a normal render. Can anyone tell me why this happen? I tried to scale the model to 1 unit= 1 meter but when I import it to VIZ it looks messy, with a lot of breaks.

P.S.: This only happens to me with the models where 1 unit = 1 mm.
