Christian Miranda
Hi Uirsu, Nice image! That images shows a nice progress from your previous radiosity renderings. Here go some constructive criticism: 1. Great velvet material on the armchair, that´s photorealistic. 2. Now it´s time to beat hard, just kidding. Ok, I´m missing some skylight comming through the windows, specially on the wall and on the ceiling. 3. Hey, I know your good modeling skills...put some more work on the pillows and bedspread...make them look more natural. 4. The luminaire on the ceiling seems to be floating. What´s its material? smoked glass? 5. The lampshades are looking really good. 6. There is still some slightly dark blotches on the ceiling...time to crank up the settings? 7. Above all that´s a great improvement from your previous radiosity renderings. Keeps us posted on your progress. xgarcia
Very nice image. I agree with the comments above. One other thing is the reflection in the mirror to the right...why does it look so non-antialiased? Is there a setting you can change to fix it. Ricardo Eloy
Hey, Uirso! What's up? I agree with Christian, this image shows a great improvement from your previous post. Congrats! Besides what my friends here said previously, I'd add one more: maybe you should go for a more dramatic lighting. Maybe having the sun lightin the bed directly, ya know? 'Cause the bed seems to cast no shadows at all, and that make it float a bit over the reflective floor (maybe a little too reflective, unless it's Porcelanato). That's it! Wilson Iwazawa
Thank you all for the comments. I've made some changes:
Ernest Burden III
I'm bothered by the viewpoint. Have you tried one less 45 deg to the bed? Either rotated so the window-wall is flatter, or (what I prefer) to foreshorten the windows and look more at the side of the bed. That will lengthen the bed, with the chair as a 'stopper' and make much more dramatic use of the light coming in. And the floor IS too shiny. Otherwise--great rendering! bigcahunak
Looks nice. One thing - the bed get direct light from the window, but cast no shadows... looks weird. Same goes to most of the objects that suppose to cast shadow on the floor, but with the bed I mentioned its the most eye catching one.
archkre
This is my concern to!: How to model more natural pillows & conforter? Any help welcome!
demo38
Looking really good. The mirror seems a bit... Exact... Maybe darken it a bit, or blur the reflection? It's like looking into the next room... OK, OK it's what a mirror does... Just a suggestion. Also, the bed pillows seem flat to me, and the bed, as a whole, seems like it's taking a deep breath? Overall, great image though. Wilson Iwazawa
Hey guys im posting the final image of this projec, but there are just little changes. This work had to be finished and i will not modify it more... Ernest, about your comment, i rotated few degrees and noticed it fit better. Other thing i made was to change the camera angle, because there was some distortion on the objects. I´ve made the floor less reflective. Now, there are some comments I swear that in the next image i´ll make a better pillow... I´m studyng how to make the reflexes more blurred (the floor for example), so, if someone could help me, i´´l be gratefull. At last, some objecs really look floating, but i can´t identify the problem (why the shadows are off) Again, thank you all for the comments, they helped me a lot, and sorry for my bad english...
