JamesTaylor
I've just been asked by a friend if its possible to take a 3D steelwork model created in StruWalk and convert it so it can be used AutoCAD. Having never used StuWalk i suggested he look to see if it can be exported as dxf or dwg but i wondered if anyone or has experience of both software packages and can answer the question. strusam
Not a chance mate. StruWalk uses rendered surfaces running in OpenGL - But it must get its co-ordinates from somewhere ?. Try contacting the support team at Strucads website ?
