Jorbu
Hi everyone, My son is due Nov 16th and I'm currently trying to design the baby's room. The layout of the furniture is final as of right now, but I'm open to suggestions. The piece in front of the crib with the TV on it, is not built yet. I still want to add a few pictures on the walls, curtains, and a few baby accessories. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the light quality and realism? Modeled in ACAD 2002 Rendered in Max 5.1 P4 2.4 Ghz 512 RAM Using Radiosity, (Daylight) 85% initial quality, 3 Refines, Filter 2, 1'-0" Global Meshing. Thanks for your input! Jorbu
It looks like I don't know how to paste the picture on my message. I'll have to work on that one! (along with changing diapers and whatever else is coming my way) Here's the link. Sorry! http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=baby-rm.jpg
Cesar R
download v-ray free and use photon maps and GI and it will give you a more realistic render
xgarcia
Having two toddlers myself be sure you bolt down that tv set. Very dangerous object for kids to pull on themselves but you don't have to worry about that until they are about 1 year old or walking. Very nice baby room. Be sure to place colorful objects on the walls. My kids love pictures and winnie-pooh paper cutouts. Congrats on your baby! Xavier
Sawyer
If you want realism I think you may want to look into stuff. Children come with tons of stuff. Diaper genie you will need that. Sheets and lots of books.
John Dollus
Add some primary colors around the crib. At the moment, the room doesn't look very stimulating for the newborn.
