shikodesign2000
Hi, When I make an interior, then I want to put an image as background, is the best way is putting it in photoshop to control its illumination?? ok, but sometines the window is full of complicated rips, and it's too difficult to cut them in photoshop, so it's better to make the background image in max, in this case how can control its illumination? shall I make for it a special omni light for example? Thanks, Sherif
kippu
well if you put in environment slot , you can control the intensity by the output values of the image within max
BrianKitts
i agree with kippu but even if you want to do it in post with photoshop, all you have to do is save your image out to a format that will hold the alpha channel (such as TIF or EXR) and then you can just select that channel in photoshop..... no cutting needed.
