Ernest Burden III
Quite good. But a few things: Use a simpler sky, the scene is very 'busy' and it calls for a flat background. Either extend the view a little on the right or cut it in a little--you are hitting right on the peak of the roof which isn't good composition. Finally, lose the greenery right at the corner of the building. Having it there interferes with the fefinition of the volumes. If you must have plants there, move them to the right of the corner line.
AJLynn
Great stuff as usual. What Ernest said, and also I'd move the left border out a bit. Can you go to a wider aspect ratio and get the whole thing in? 4:3 never feels quite right anyway.
NOOXY
thanks guys for the quick reply..working on it right away..will post update soon..thanks
Ray
I thought you were gonna say, ". . . after about 3 draft beers!" Damn, is it Friday yet?
Camby1298
I think there is a slight burn on the sun faced side of the restaurant, and the side on the building in the shadows is a bit dark for how bright your light source is. I would even the levels of lighting a little bit more.
NOOXY
HERE'S my update guys..took some of that c&c...what uall think now..better or worse
Trevor Tizard
Much better.................... Some odd shadows under the handrail, a little displacement on the stone texture would help. Still, a very nice image indeed.
AJLynn
Definitely getting there. I like what you're doing with the ground.
RyanSpaulding
I think a 3:2 ratio would help this image but I like it so far
Camby1298
Yea definatly getting there, the lighting levels are better, but the texture map of the stone is acting oddly around the corner. Displacing it would look real good since the stone is near the foreground, but make sure it is mapped on your object correctly.
perspectiva3d
I like it, but i prefer the camera with the lines total vertical look better. goood
NOOXY
Bumped up the stone wall a bit and added a few shrubs here and there..i'll do a final render over the weekend with specs turned up....thanks to u guys i think i'm almost there...how's this one looking
AJLynn
Hate to say it but I'm not loving the stone. The bump doesn't seem to be doing it for you (maybe displacement would work but it's a lot of area to cover) and it's introduced some mesh issues. Is that an imported cad model? It might help to select all the triangles on the face and untriangulate them to an n-gon.
blade911
hey dude nice work. really nice ground.maybe u have to work on the stone part. also ur background perspective is out of line with the model. this im sayin by jus gettin a peek of tat horizon. but cheers as always
