Wokka
Here's a little problem I'm having with reflections. I have a glass wall, highly reflective, with glass balustrading in front of it. To show the real world reflection in the glass I have a flat plane with an alpha channel showing the opposite side of the road. This reflects nicely in the glass wall but the image is completely blocked where the balustrading is reflected. The image shows the rear of the balustrading as opaque reflected in the glass. I've mucked around with various transparency setting, Ray depths, Reflection depths etc with no joy. thanks for any help

Wokka
Hi guy's and thanks for your interest. Some idiot finally checked his compositing tag and had "seen by transparency' unchecked. What a deadbeat. He's packing his bags and out of this corporation as we speak. A large firm like ours won't tolerate such wastefull use of time and recourses etc etc etc .............. In other words, I stuffed up. Sorry guys.

Frosty
In other words, I stuffed up. It happens doesn't it. I think we've all overlooked "the bleedin obvious" at one point or three.
