roly
my last wip. still lots of missing geometry and some light leaks, but the modeling gets sloppy after so many revisions on a tight deadline. modeled in form-z and rendered in viz 4. was my first attempt at radiosity. any comments or crits on how to improve the rendering are welcome. STRAT
nice wip. lighting looks great so far, my only comments are about the textures. they look awfully colourfull and saturated, the ceiling texture tiles dreadfully and the block walls look more like wall paper. the scene also has a very misty, dreamy type feel to it. kinda blurred. Eric
Very nice! I might suggest trying to make the glass a little more evident on the large window to the right, if there is in fact supposed to be glass there. As it stands, there are no signs of weatherstripping in the center of the mullions to hold the glass in, and there is not "cap" piece where the mullions meet the ceiling. Look at this website for details of what this storefront system would look like. http://www.kawneer.com/media/PDF/Framing/Trifab_400/Arch_Manual/Manual.pdf Good luck, and a very nice job so far! matt_vinoir
you seem to have gone for red lillies on the table. Go for white as this will improve the karma.
