drvox
Hi all I've got this scene with a sky background bitmap..when I render ir in a exterior view I can see the sky..when I get into the house and render a interior view I can't see it... The window is glass and there is a Vray Light in each window...the vray light is exactly the same size of the window do fake the sun light entry... The background image is set in the Rendering Environment (key 8 for shortcut). does anyone knoes why this happens? Thanks a lot
lambros
well, two things: - vray lights are blocking the view, you have to check "invisible". - the glass vray material should have "Affect shadows" and "affect alpha" enabled, to be really transparent and allow shadows to enter the interior
drvox
Thanks a lot..it wasn't set as invisible! Another thing that I can't find is a way to render images with more pixels (I guess this is what I want). If i print this picture it will have very little white points...the same happens if you zoom it... It was rendered with high quality in the Irradiance Map (Primary), but I sitll can't get rid of those points... I've rendered it with a resolution of 800X600... This is nice for me to get an idea of the final result...but I wanted to get something better in the final render...Any help? King Regards
lambros
i can't see any white points. Can you be more specific, or show us a picture?
drvox
I only have some test scenes..here is another.. But I wonder if this image couldn't have more pixels?? Thanks!
lambros
I can't really seem to find any problems with your renders. If your render at greater sizes, what is the problem? will there be artifacts? if yes, please post a larger render pic.
