andy shand
nice stuff...but to take a true nightime photo ..and drop the building into that and retain subtle glints and reflections in the facade but with the full intensity of a light at night would be interesting...but i think some kind of high dynamic range approach would be needed...i say this because i find true nightime stuff the hardest to pull off...to have an internally lit room thats fully visible but with reflections in the window at night...thats a challenge. STRAT
lets send our favourite night shots, with excellent quality then fighure out how the artists can make such thing. perhaps some of us already know forgive me for sounding a touch harsh, but when you say 'our' i get the impression you mean us all. it's usually the more inexperienced who ask these types of questions and look at imagery like this in awe of how it was done. but yes, this site is a great place for super tips and helpful hints i agree night time imagery looks beautiful when done correctly. STRAT
not atall , when you've been in the business for nearly 20 years you get to know all the ins and outs of your trade (as you should in all that time, it's your job afterall) , even if your work dont always reflect it. i was just amplying to maryam there's a good split here of nubes and fully fledged pros (i got the impression he/she was assuming we all aspire to this work, great though it is). it's not just the methods which make a good picture but experience and artistic ability behind it. e-YELLOWCABS.COM
hi strat ! I totally agree with you, a nice picture is more than technic and method...I think it is When you do control technic and method that your sensitivity exresses itself, art begins...
