salf
Ok, heres the thing, I have to make a 3d model, of a roof, its like a long walkway covered with a roof. If you see the floorplans, the shape of the long walkway its almost like a "Guitar" shape, so what IM doing is using the roof section, and extruding it along the curved path. However im having issues with this, at the end of the "path" the roof is distorted, it changes its angle, or if you see it in teh top view, you noticed it didnt quite follow the curved path. ANy idea how to solve this?
ITryMyBest
if the extrusion isn't working, sometimes i just create a wall object along the path and use the roof profile as a sweep in one of the components

mcorrea
Sweep is a new acad 2007 command. It works pretty much as the follow me tool in sketchup.
salf
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......ok.....got it now.....altho I cant use it, since I have 2006. Now, another question, in this project I have rounded columns, whenever I import the file to MAX, the colums are all messed up, not rounded, in another file I had the same problem, but I fixed it by moving all the 3d model in Autocad to the point 0,0,0, since its was too far away form it, and when importing to MAX it fixed the colums and other model issues, but it doenst works with this file, any idea?
