This is my first interior shot. I know I need some more clutter, add a chair and a coffee table, perhaps some pictures on the walls.

 

Any other ideas to improve the work?

What are you trying to show Allen? I think there will be a few comments of the technical drawing but I think you are lacking focus for the image. First off what is the room to be? Are you going for Boy & Girls Club look thats what I get from this a sparse room maybe for govmnt employees or a game room for underprilaged children. Not what I would think of when I hear country club card room. If the materials were chosen by you choose something stronger. If the archi chose the materials work with the furn. Green leather couch in the sun? Looks painful. Usually spaces like this really sell a project so it could be a very important room that needs to look inviting.

Thanks for the comment and the time you took to look at the image, Sawyer. Been so busy modeling - haven't had time to think like that...you are, of course, right. I'll speak with the architect, look at some magazines and books - get some ideas for "classing" the place up - on focusing on the 'image' we're trying to convey.

I really appreciated your input...get the focus off of the software and back to the audience.

 

BTW I was born in Sacramento - grew up in Lincoln. Hope all is well in CA.
