DaveP
Pls help. We are about to start a large project with lots of flourescent lights. When we have created scenes like this in Radiosity we kept the light geometry to a simple face pointing in the correct direction and applied a material override to it. We are now using VRAY, is it the same approach or is it better to use actual modelleded tubes. After the geometry is created do we simply add Vraylight material. many thanks DaveP
kippu
i would choose the option of modelling geomentry and applying vray light material, but of course not depend on it for lighting though
DavidR
I agree with Kippu -I use vrayLight mat for glow and use it alone for reflections/glows that are contained/close to the light-emitting geometry, but it won't light a whole room very well, so I'll supplement with vray lights to balance things.
