3ds max 9 trial

I just downloaded the trial version of max 9 but the file type is unrecognized. Has any one else had this problem and if so what are you using to get it to execute.

In theory you could have a bad download. Since web browsers don't have anything for verifying your download is not corrupt, I'm posting a .SFV file I made of my copies of the installer and the tutorials installer - unzip the file and put the .SFV file in the same directory as the downloaded files then run this program on it: http://www.quicksfv.org/download.html and it will tell you if your file is exactly the same as mine.

Thanks, it ooks like they are corrupt. I ran it in sfv, it says missing files. I'll try downloading it on a different machine.

I downloaded the trial version on another machine and its the same unrecognizable file. What should the file extesion be? Is there something you use to extract the file?

It's a .exe file.

Problem solved. I gave the file an .exe extension and it extracted just fine Thanks for the help.
