1. Check out "Exposure Control" that should get your light levels up.

2. Have you tried turning off "Cast Shadows" for the window glass object or just hide the window glass during the processing of the Rad. Solution?

3. Make sure the "Reflectance" value for your material is close to that of the real world. (Example: White has roughly an 80% reflectance value. You can use white as a base (since it has the highest ref. val.) to eyeball other colors ref. val. if you don't have real world numbers to use.)

I've collected a few txt files and links and what-not's from when I first began using Viz (radiosity). They are mostly from the autodesk newsgroup for Viz. I've zipped them up for you guys to use.

Viz4 Radiosity Tips Pack

Hope this is useful. Credit goes to whoever is on what page - some are blank so I don't know who said it. :)

Hola Miguelafi: Much better now!

A few issues...:

-I find the texture on the ceiling and the walls to bumpy - try rescaling it.

-The wooden post (left at the balcony) doesn't meet the horizontal element

-I find the background picture a little tilted..I may be wrong...

Anyway...Good Job

Que pasa

You did good!

I like the glass top table in the corner. my glass gets stupid when its so close to the camera. Are you using one of the raytraced materials or did you make it?

The reflections in the floor looks a little too sharp. I have noticed some of the better work in this forum blur the reflection a little or maybe a lot. Flat mirror has options to do this, assuming you used flat mirror. The floor looks nice overall. Did you model each tile or did you use a composite material? I am not sure I understand the upper cabinets. Is the center panel glass, painted? If it is glass turn it off I think it will look more convincing.I would mention the threashold and the head but I think you already know its not there. As a whole this is much better than I was expecting.

Now go look at mine it should be at the top of the page. for now any way.
