scaling viewports in viz

what I usually do is draw a rectangle which is the same proportion as the viewport, and then scale the viewport until the rectangle fits in the borders, it won't give you a logical scale (i.e. 1:100 or what ever scale), but, all the elevations will be proportional to each other if you use the same rectangle as a reference.

before rendering, make sure the rectangle is renderable and be sure to place it in front of all the elevations you are doing so it can be sen and used for reference in all the images...

this was a good way of doing it. I rotated all the ojbects in the view and got pretty much the same zoom scale. thanks a lot.

 

 

 

Hi illirianeye,

I don´t think there is an option to scale the viewport like in autocad. What about copying your model 4 times, rotate it 0,90,180,270 degrees and render an orthografic view of all 4 models at once.
