acidmaster
The renderings look great ... I like the night render, (Wonder if you will attempt to place lighting inside those buildings).. AyYahYa.. You could try some form of distance fog to blur out distant objects outside the scope of what you really want to be evident. Since fog exists and clients know what fog is, they won't question it. vs some graphic technique that may confuse some people. And fog is easy to implement.. and cost effective. (This could give you time to do other things like the lighting inside the buildings.. hehe). G
Tommy L
Yes hopefully i am going to give the appearence of light inside the buildings. Im going to use amaterial effect and maybe lens effect to acheive it tho. The renders are coming out around 3 minutes at 800/450 so far and i want to keep it that way. More pics soon. mtutaj
Tommy, Quick question, did you end up shooting all your own building exterior maps or were you able to grab them from somewhere else? Thanks, Mike
Tommy L
Hello Mike, I went out and shot them all myself. I then created alphas for all the glass to do reflections in the windows. Ended up looking pretty good. One of those projects that never really went anywhere tho.
mtutaj
ok, thats what I was looking to do. You did a great job on what you did end up doing. I guess it all comes down to organization of image files then.
