flooatz Posted October 24, 2006 Share Posted October 24, 2006 hello guyz. im a new bie in Vray rendering. my problem is this.. i imported an autocad file to 3dsmax for rendering aplication, i put an ID for every layer for material aplication. in material editor i use Multi/Sub layer, aplying vraymaterial and bitmap texture( i use jpeg format) with every ID in ON mode. problem goes with i aply render nothing change in the material. i still use the deafult setting in Vray render. does i have to change in render setting? waiting for answer... thanks guys in advance.. I'm not sure what you meant, but VRay doesn't really like Multi/sub-object materials (at least as I recall). ( now i know) if i use different material (VrayMtrl) in evry layer with separate material, do i need to assign ID for each of my layers? how to apply texture? i dont use UVWMap... and my Vray render is default setting.. thanks guys.. and i realy want to learn more from u guyz..
