ccp76 Posted October 25, 2006 Share Posted October 25, 2006 Hey guys i was wondering if you could help me with a problem im having setting a background for my interior scene, its a interior , at night, has windows, so i want my background to show through the windows, the problem is, how do i set this background, i have heard about skydomes, but to tell you the truth i dont know how to do this, so far i have tried putting the image in the environment map but the render shows something weird, the image reflects on the walls, and the walls have no reflection values, i dont know whats causing this, any help would be apreciated. thanks, PS : sorry forgot to attach the render Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ccp76 Posted October 25, 2006 Author Share Posted October 25, 2006 thank you Rimantas, that did it, however i wanted to ask you this, what happens if you want a window (glass)there, reflecting the interior, how do you do this, i mean, the window(glass) will reflect the interior but woudnt it also be black outside, how do you clean that up, and add a background ? ill be working a solution for that all night, ill see what i can do.
