Ricardo Eloy
Hey, Kippu! Good first try on VRay. I'd say that it looks a bit flat, though. I don't know if it's because of the textures (no bumping on the bricks, right?) or the car that looks over-exposed... I would: 1) Increase the brick size and add some bumping to it (I really can't tell if there is a bumping there already) 2) Change the flat blue sky for a gradient going from light blue (almost white) to a darker shade of blue (or even create the sky. Bryce and Terragen are good tools in case you have them) 3) Choose other plants/trees. They all look way too light, and are not helping the visualization of the building, which is the main goal of any image. 4) Also, the white walls are just too white. Go for a subtle shade of gray with some bumping instead. 5) The grass is a little too high. Gives the impression that the owner doesn't know what a gardener does 6)About the VRay issues, try decreasing the secondary bounce values. They seem too close to the primary bounce values, so the lighting is more uniform than it should. That takes off the sense of depth (no difference between planes). I know it seems a lot, but I think those are details that might help you achieving a better image. And be sure to send your updates! bigcahunak
To add to all the above, for me the eye level is a little too low. I'm not too fond of being harsh and saying that a good image must be at a human scale eye level, but... yours is lower that a cat's eye level... Good luck.
