Piolit
I have an interior scene (apt) with an environment beyond the windows. There are vray lights behind each window. When I render looking at/through the window, I see the environment behind, no problem here. However, across from the window is a glass wall that when it reflects (ie: you see the reflection of the window in the glass wall) it does not show the environment behind the window, instead it reflects a large white square, that being the vray light. The light is invisible, it only shows up in reflection. Is there anyway to solve this problem of the vray light reflecting in a material. I need to see the environment in the glass wall reflection, not the hotspot of the light. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt
olbo
Heya Piolit, you could update to V-Ray 1.5RC3 and use the new option (Affect specular) in the V-Ray lights and turn it off. If you can't update right now, ... well I guess the easiest way is to exclude the glass wall from the light. Don't know another option right now. Hope this helps a bit. ;o) take care Oleg
