aligrafix
Hi everyone. Does anyone know how to get the glowing reflections? Lets have a daylight scene. I want to render metal. I assume that this glowing reflection happens due to hitting the direct sunlight. I daily life, we get this effect on big signboards where sunlight hits it directly. i think you guys understand my problem. I can submit small pictures if you guys need it....... How to get this effect with vray? Thanks
Christopher Nichols
In reality, this is more of an optical atmospheric effect, due to refraction effects in the air. While in same crazy way, it would be possible to do it in 3D, it is SO easy to do it in 2D that generally, specular blooms are done as a 2D post effect. Neil wrote a good tutorial on this... http://www.neilblevins.com/cg_education/specular_bloom/specular_bloom.htm
